From: Xchw, China.

The sender I feel that she is younger than me, maybe. She wrote much about Taiwanese drama, such as " It Started with A Kiss(惡作劇之吻)" and " In Time with You(我可能不會愛你)". I have never watched the latter drama but some of my friends are addicted in this drama and they all recommend this to me; as a result, I decide to watch this play in winter vacation.

And the sender also told me she likes " Mayday(五月天)", and many of her friends came to Taiwan to involve in their concert. To tell the truth, some of my friends also attended to the concert in Taipei Arena.  There's no difference between young people cross Taiwan Strait.

Hurray~1 Year!

Yesterday was a day I have attended Postcrossing.com for 1 year. I have sent 170 postcards and received 163 postcards over the period from  the website. That's a record.

The past year, something happened in my life. First, I got the graduate school admission notice and I become MBA student this year. Second, I got the driving license. Third, I had lived in Mainland China for month this year because of my father's work. During the period, my sister registered the postcards for me without sending any to overseas, as the result, the record in that period was low.

I am so happy so I want to share a picture I took.
This photo I took when I was at the campus of SuZhou University. There are some ginkgo trees at the campus. It's very beautiful in autumn.

Postcard from Finland.

I received this postcard yesterday. It is a blueberry pancake recipe with Moomins Characters.

In Taiwan, traditional family are not used to baking a pie or cookies because they have no space to place the facilities or have no time to do it. My mom has never done that, she has to work almost 6 days a week and her interest is not on it. I think this is my mom's life style, not each mom have to do the same.

Postcard from China Sent by Me 2

Yeah~
I receive 2 postcards which I sent from NanJing and Suzhou.

The first postcard was from NanJing. I have been to NanJing for many times, but it was the first time I wrote a postcard to myself and sent it. It's meaningful.

I have to say that the efficiency of China Post is a little low. I sent the card on Nov. 16, 2011 and I get it today (Nov.29,2011). It takes 13 days. Last week, I sent a postcard to Finland and the receiver got the card after 3 days, how fast!

It is not only a ticket for Museum of NanJing Presidential Palace, but also a postcard. The entrance fee is too high, RMB40, about NTD $200; USD $6.

The backside you can see a stamps was printed already, you only have to buy RMB1 stamp (to Taiwan) or RMB 4 stamp (to other countries). The backside also shows the map about the museum.

After the XinHai Revolution in 1911, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen was sworn in at the Presidential Palace as the provisional president of Republic of China. NanJing Presidential Palace housed the Office of the President of Republic of China before the republic relocated to Taiwan. (It is a long story to say about our country. )

The second postcard was from SuZhou I sent on Nov.17, 2011. It takes 12 days. I had never been to SuZhou Museum before this trip so I bought a postcard and sent it for commemoration.

It is the appearance of current building of SuZhou Museum. The building was designed by famous Pritzker Prize-winning Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei in association with Pei Partnership Architects. Construction of this building started in 2002. It was inaugurated on October 6, 2006. And it's free to visit.

I found a special postmark for the museum. Do you notice that ? I love collecting postmarks. I already have a postmark about Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion in Qufu.

I remember I sent some postcards from SuZhou University, but I haven't received any one.
